A big thank you to Rachel Yurk, Chief Information & Technology Officer at Pewaukee School District, and Adriana Plach, Continuous Improvement Coordinator at Pewaukee School District, for the opportunity to present at the Pewaukee Ai Summit.
Thank you as well to WCTC for sharing their incredible campus and to 365 Retail Markets for their role in showcasing innovative possibilities for schools. I also want to acknowledge Tony Frontier, whose keynote left us all reflecting deeply on the future of education. Thank you to all the speakers and presenters as there was a ton of knowledge shared!
In my session, Entrepreneurship with AI through Unattended Retail, I shared how middle and high school students can take the lead in launching and managing AI-powered smart stores, micromarts, and smart coolers as part of CTE pathways, athletics programs, or club-based initiatives. We explored how schools can adapt current AI tools to give students real-world entrepreneurial experience in a sustainable, innovative way.
I left the day feeling inspired, connected, and optimistic about the role AI can play in empowering students and educators alike.
